WKRQ/Q102 signed on in October 1972 as Cincinnati’s Hit Music Station and continues to be the leader in defining contemporary music in our town.

Reaching over half a million listeners weekly, the Q102 air staff is live and local and includes our award-winning morning show — starring Jeff, Jenn, Fritsch and Tim — Mollie in middays, Roy, Nat & Freddy Mac in afternoons and Kay on nights.

WKRQ is the undisputed promotional leader among all Greater Cincinnati stations. Innovative contesting and a commitment to the community have garnered Q102 multiple Marconi nominations – and a Large Market Station of the Year win in 2017.

Q102 provides support for many local charities including The American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Brighton Center and St. Joseph Orphanage. Q102 is also a proud supporter of the Music Resource Center of Cincinnati, a nonprofit group dedicated to improving the lives of at-risk youth through after-school music education programs. These efforts were recognized by the National Association of Broadcasters with a prestigious Crystal Award in 2009, 2012, and 2020 for commitment to community service.
