KSHE 95 – kshe95.com

KSHE 95, “Real Rock Radio”, was one of the very first radio stations to play rock music on the FM band. The station celebrated 50 years of rocking St. Louis in 2017 and is the longest running rock station in the world!

KSHE main artists include Led Zeppelin, Tom Petty, Rush, AC DC, ZZ Top, Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Van Halen, Boston and Pink Floyd.

The personalities on KSHE 95 are live and local. Weekday mornings are anchored by the “The UMan” (John Ulett) who has been on-air at KSHE for over 40 years. The KSHE Morning Rock Show also includes “Lern” and “Carl the Intern”.  Ulett also hosts the popular “KSHE Klassics Show” on Sundays from 8AM-Noon. He has also been the St. Louis Cardinals public address announcer for 30 years.  Mid-days are handled by “Lern” (Lauren Elwell). Afternoon drive is hosted by “Favazz” (Guy Favazza).

St. Louis counts on KSHE for more than just music and personalities. The KSHE “Rock ‘N Roll Up Your Sleeve Blood Drive” (Summer and Winter) continues as the largest media sponsored blood drive in the country. Over 150,000 usable units of blood have been collected helping a half million people. KSHE also regularly raises money for several organizations like St. Louis Children’s Hospital through participation from loyal fans.

KSHE targets adults 25 to 54. The KSHE audience is truly “multi-generational”, though.  While many KSHE listeners have been true to KSHE since 1967, there is a second, third and fourth generation of newer listeners that have grown into KSHE enthusiasts.
