QUALIFICATIONS:

KRWM-FM is looking for someone to do live on-air weekends / board operator shifts, fill in. Audio demo is required for all applicants.

  • Minimum 3 year professional on-air experience at a commercial radio station preferred.
  • Ability to relate and communicate with 25-54 year old Woman.
  • Understand and communicate the station Warm brand.
  • Applicants should have a broad knowledge of AC music.
  • Having strong social media skills is a plus!
  • Ability to work flexible hours, especially holidays, weekends, late nights, etc.
  • Ability to work short notice.
  • Must be positive and natural communicator with a clear speaking voice .
  • Must have the ability to think and perform creatively.
  • Must have the team attitude and ability to work with others in a creative environment.
  • Must be able to operate control board and other studio equipment including digital workstation.
  • Must have and have a neat appearance.
  • Must be able to take direction, be extremely reliable and have reliable transportation.
  • Applications must include an audio sample of on-air work.

DUTIES:

  • Work on the air as an announcer promoting the station events/promotions, music, etc.
  • Run control board flawlessly during live broadcasts as well as remote broadcasts for other on-air talent, if needed.
  • Attend station functions, including staff meetings and promotional appearances, as needed.
