Bruce Reese is a Special Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer of Hubbard Radio, LLC. Hubbard Radio operates 30 radio stations in seven national markets.
Bruce Reese joined Hubbard Radio as the President and Chief Executive Officer in April 2011 when Hubbard purchased Bonneville International assets in Chicago, Washington, D.C., St. Louis and Cincinnati. Prior to that time, Mr. Reese was President and Chief Executive Officer of Bonneville International Corporation.
Mr. Reese began his career at Bonneville in 1984 and became general counsel in 1985. In 1991, he was named executive vice president of Bonneville and in 1996 he was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to joining Bonneville, Mr. Reese practiced law with firms in Washington, D.C., and Denver. He began his legal career with the Antitrust Division of the Justice Department in Washington, D.C.
His community activities include the United Way of Salt Lake Board of Directors, Brigham Young University Alumni Association, and Intermountain Healthcare, Inc., Board of Trustees.
He currently serves as Immediate Past Chair of the Joint Radio and Television Boards of the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) and as a director of the NAB Education Foundation. Other national and industry activities include Associated Press Board of Directors and Radio Advertising Bureau Board of Directors.
Mr. Reese was raised in West Lafayette, Indiana. He attended Brigham Young University, receiving his Bachelor of Arts in 1973 and Juris Doctor in 1976. He and his wife live in Sandy, Utah, and are the parents of seven children. They also have four daughters-in-law, two sons-in-law, and fifteen grandchildren.
